Darkness to Daylight is returning for its 11th year on the 29th - 30th May 2024. This signature community event will enter a new era at Queensland Parliament House, corner of Alice and George streets and it’s the only event of its kind to be held within these very special grounds.

Walk to Defeat MND is an inclusive, family-friendly event for the community to come together in support of a loved one living with MND or to pay tribute to someone lost to this devastating disease. Participants raise funds and awareness for MND to walk or roll 2km to 4km in parks or near beaches.

    We need adult volunteers to judge primary and secondary school debates at various locations across Brisbane City, Brisbane suburbs, Redlands, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Gold Coast and Toowoomba. Volunteers will listen to two or three debates an evening and are expected to deliver an oral adjudication to outline the winning team whilst encouraging students with suggestions on how they can improve and how they can debate better.
