We are opening a new store in the Tuggeranong Community Centre We are currently looking for volunteers to assist on: Monday - Sunday (10.00 am - 1.00 pm, and 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm) Aiming to be open March 2025 - Onboarding and Training at our Manuka Store

The Program for After School Studies is targeted at young people from CALD backgrounds between the ages of 8 - 25 years old to assist with homework, reading, writing, acquiring speaking skills and study skills. Students can be tutored in a variety of subjects depending on their need. Sessions can be held face-to-face or online.

Make appointments with clients in person and on the phone managing a diary. Record correspondence received by email and from the post office. Pay and send out invoice. Manage volunteers doing fundraising activities, and on updating of Policies and Procedures. oversee or participate in fund raising activities including submitting applications for funds and oversee subsequent related projects.

Provide supportive listening, and practical help to clients, on the phone and in person under the supervision of a Service Coordinator. Keep accurate file notes of every client contact as directed. Provide court support to clients on demand. Provide home visits for clients unable to travel to the office for their appointment , or work on google chat or messenger or other face to face telephone service as needed.
