Repair Lab Melville (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)
Repair Lab Melville is a community event run by volunteers who use their skills to help people repair items that would otherwise be discarded and sent to landfill. Volunteer Repairers assist attendees in repairing items brought to the event. Volunteer Repairers may have one particular skill they can offer, for example, repairing electrical appliances, textiles (e.g. sewing machinist, darning) or household repairs (nailing, gluing etc.)

Pets of Older Persons (POOPSWA) (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)
POOPS WA is an incorporated non-profit association staffed entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers are police-cleared and have a Working with Children Check and provide a range of services including home visits, dog walking and transport to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. We cater specifically for people over 65 years of age – or palliative-care patients of any age – who have no relatives or friends willing or able to take responsibility for their pets in times of need.

Can you help support our programs by volunteering in the St Pats warehouse. Join a friendly team of volunteers for a fun Monday morning sorting through the donations given to St Pat’s by our very generous community. Meet other volunteers and help the community through your volunteering. The clothing donated to St Pat’s is either given to people who are experiencing homelessness or in need or sold at our Op Shop which directly funds our Centre.
