As a volunteer Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organisation. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, the CEO and our accountants to oversee management of the organisation's finances, including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting.

The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) provides FREE social support to elderly people in Sydney. We seek a Greek Speaking Volunteer to contact an elderly person via telephone calls, mail or post card during the lockdown and then face to face visit can start once all the restrictions are lifted. The minimum visitation is one hour per week. we highly value our wonderful volunteers.

Aged Care volunteers visit the eligible seniors/aged care residents at aged care facility/home to provide friendship and social supports. Sydney MCS seek Croatian-speaking (to visit individual home in Stanmore and Pagewood, also a facility in Revesby). We wait for almost 5 years and we haven't got any of volunteers comply mandatory three doses of COVID-19 vaccinations. We also seek Greek languages visitors volunteers to support isolated residents at the facility in Daceyville/Maroubra /Croydon.
Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.
