Fishability provides adults and school aged children with disabilities an opportunity to participate in recreational fishing in Perth and other areas of the State, The Program Coordinator will act as the volunteer in charge for the Perth South Fishability Program during each fishing activity and in the preparation beforehand. You will help people with disabilities experience the fun of fishing while providing a coordination and leadership role for other volunteers.

Volunteers come on any week day from 9.30am to 2 pm to help prepare and serve food for the school’s recess and lunch breaks. Duties include food prep, dishes, general cleaning and selling and restocking food and drinks. Closed in shoes and a current Working With Children card are required and we will supply aprons and headwear.
Assist canteen manager to prepare and serve ordered school lunches (eg rolls/sandwiches).
This groups works in Blackwall Reach Reserve and along the river foreshore at Blackwall Reach Parade, doing restoration and erosion control works. They hold regular workdays and planting days throughout the year between April - September.
Seeking a mentor for our Social Textiles Group, a free inclusive social group for people who enjoy textile crafts ranging from beginners to experienced.
MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Peer Support Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a peer support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion.
Repair Lab Melville is a community event run by volunteers who use their skills to help people repair items that would otherwise be discarded and sent to landfill. Repair Lab Assistants will help set up and pack up the event, help Repair Lab Melville attendees to carry items for repair into the venue, answer general enquiries and direct attendees to repair stations.
Energetic, enthusiastic caring team-orientated volunteers with skills to assist in a fast-paced environment with meal packing, as part of our friendly week-day kitchen teams based in Palmyra.
