We are looking for volunteers to help transport elderly members of our community from their homes to our centre in Norlane. This allows them to participate in social programs. You would need to be comfortable in driving our 12 seater vans. Driver training would be provided and you only require a standard drivers licence.

Patients can select from a variety of a wigs, which as a professional hairdresser part of your role will be to trim, shape and customise each wig for the patient.
Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk. In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.
At our centre in Norlane, we require volunteers to assist with activities for elderly clients. During weekdays, clients attend our centre and participate in activities which include but not limited to... playing games, having one on one conversations, gardening, outings, enjoying lunch and socialising. Volunteers are needed on any weekdays they are available, to assist and spend time with our clients.

Are you an organized person with excellent people skills? We need people for admin support in the rostering of our volunteer radio team in Geelong. We put print to audio, and ensure all members of the low vision and blind community have access to local community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers. If you want to be a vital part of the Radio team of putting print to audio, then this role is for you.
Community Visitors uphold the Human Rights of people living in supported care. They visit accommodation facilities and monitor and report on the adequacy of services provided. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are able to visit during day-time hours or late afternoons and who can make a commitment of two years. Training will be provided to support you in the role.
