BBQ King/Queen at the Norman Park Family Fun Fair

Join us to help support Qlders living with Motor Neurone Disease at the Norman Park Family Fun Fair. This free community event has been organised to bring the community together raise $$ and awareness for MND. The Foundation benefit at the fair by selling food and drinks. We need volunteer to help with the BBQ, food preparation and drinks sales. There will be leaders there on the day from the Foundation to ensure everything runs nice and smoothly.

Bayside Carols, presented by Queensland Services Heritage Band Association, is a favourite annual Christmas tradition for families in the Wynnum-Manly area. We will have the music covered, but need an Event Coordinator to organise this year's event held at George Clayton 'Lighthouse' Park, on 22 December. The volunteer/s will need to be ready to jump in now to start organising vendors, promoting the event and manage the site on the night to ensure another successful Bayside Carols event.

State Director of People and Culture (QLD)

The State Director of People & Culture is essentially the human resources manager for the state. They are in charge of volunteer recruitment (developing position descriptions, interview schemas and running interviews), six-monthly performance reviews of state volunteers (working with the National P&C Director), managing volunteer conduct, and volunteer self-care and welfare. They are also responsible for sourcing in-state volunteer training and event opportunities.

Chief Financial Officer

They are in charge of creating an annual budget (approved by the Board) each January, and an Annual Financial Report each End of Financial Year. The CFO additionally assists State Finance Officers in applying for grants and manages approvals of expenditure and reimbursements for volunteers.
