Helping Hand North Adelaide is seeking Activities Assistants to join the Volunteer team. As a volunteer your role will be with our Lifestyles Team at North Adelaide, supporting residents to socialise and join in activities.
Helping Hand has partnered with the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) to connect older people in our residential care communities with a dedicated volunteer. We want to bring friendship and joy to older people who may be socially isolated, or who might be finding it hard to connect with others due to cultural, physical or other barriers.
Would you like to add value to people's lives? Maxima has a Driving Training program and needs Volunteer Driving Supervisors to support this wonderful program. What will you do? Complete driver induction and attend information sessions prior to commencing. Use a Maxima vehicle to pick up Learner Drivers from their location or Maxima office. Support the Learner Driver to work towards achieving their logbook hours. Support the Learner Driver to gain driving confidence

Each week could be a different adventure or a simple task depending on what suits you both. Think shopping, coffee, walks or visits to a gallery museum or even a community meeting or class.
