You and your dog can help children find the magic in becoming lifelong readers.  The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

A key aspect of Wishlist operation is the provision of low-cost accommodation to support patients and their families requiring the services of a SCHHS Hospital. Our accommodation facilities at the Wishlist Centre at Birtinya provide accommodation for patients and carers. The accommodation is available for many guests who often travel from rural or remote Queensland areas and undergo chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.
