We are looking for a volunteer with skills in basic admin (copying, filing and stores), tidy clean appearance, good customer service and confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
Cleaning of animal shelter including mopping of floors, cleaning litter trays, food bowls & bedding. Preparing fresh food for cats. Keeping notes on cats health & socialising (petting & patting) of cats.
Person required to be available on short notice to fill in a vacant shift. Preferably available 7 days/week, but specific days, week or weekends, are also okay.
Volunteer required to collect and wash animal shelter towels and tea towels twice a week or as needed. Must have own washing machine and drying area.
Maintain Preschool grounds. Mowing, whipper snippering, weed clearing and eradication. General maintenance of the Preschool building.
Volunteer to transport and accompany Murwillumbah Meals On Wheels clients to appointments, shopping etc and for social outings, within the Murwillumbah local area. (Petrol reimbursed and morning tea paid for.)
Committee members required for executive or general committee positions required. Meetings are held bi-monthly in Murwillumbah.
To deliver meals packages to clients. Take orders, collect and receipt monies on Fridays. Communicate with co-coordinator. 5-weekly roster
General Clean of small sports Club in Mullumbimby. Includes vacuuming, wiping tables, etc.
Volunteers needed mowing & the upkeep of the sports grounds.
Manual control of environmental weeks, maintenance of existing plantings (weeding, watering and mulching), tagging native plants and planting at Byrrill Creek. Byrrill Creek Landcare Group Coordinator and Project Contractor will supervise and direct volunteers.
Manual control of environmental weeds and planting at Terragon. Terragon Landcare Group Coordinator will supervise and direct volunteers.
Assist Pickup and delivery of goods to Shops/warehouse - no driver's licence required. Must be able to load & unload truck.
Sorting and grading of clothing, bric-a-brac, kitchen goods and toys after collecting and dropping off by truck.
