We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed woman who has a particular flare for home cooking with the ability to inspire other to volunteer in the group. The group is about more than just food though, it is a relaxed environment which allows women from all walks of life to develop social connections and support.
Woden Community Service, Abilities Services are looking for a volunteer with good interpersonal skills, and positive attitude, to assist in running a weekly cooking group with their participants. As a cooking group assistant, you will assist the Group Leader to run the group (with the support from Ability Support Workers).
This role works with other volunteers in the cafe of the Food Cooperative Shop. It's about making tea, coffee, smoothies and helping to dish up the delicious lunch. It's a vibrant place with so many people working together to keep our Co-op awesome.
