Breakfast club. A small group of participants arrive early, often without having breakfast, The Breakfast Club aims to provide a social breakfast whilst teaching good healthy food choices. We are looking for a volunteer to facilitate this program, seek food donations from local businesses and teach participants how to prepare breakfast in a social environment. No experience required, just an enthusiasm to be involved and support young adults with a disability.
SisterWorks is a partner of UN Women, to deliver UN Women’ Second Chance Education pilot project in Australia. SisterWorks provides training programs to the most vulnerable women with little English of Refugee and migrant backgrounds. As a Food Safety Teacher, you will be working with 1 other teacher to deliver the food safety content of our eight-week Cooking and Nutrition Programme.
The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will ensure that Story Dogs remains an active and relevant organisation by raising awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

The role of the Volunteer Events Team leader is to assist in identifying, planning, coordinating and managing fundraising events. Securing revenue streams through various events is critical to the ongoing success of Groomed to Go. Whilst the role is supported by a team of volunteers, the Volunteer Events Team Leader will recommend events to the committee of management for approval and manage these from end to end.

You will play an integral role as this is a start-up division for Groomed to Go. You will provide assistance to get this of the ground by helping acquire, grow, and retain supporters for G2G’s work and to achieve our mission. This role is will engage with individual members of the public through a wide range of channels, including Face-to-Face, online, direct mail, tv, telemarketing, and digital media.

We match volunteers from the community with young people involved in the Child Protection system, with the aim of creating lasting friendships and positive, stable role models for young people leaving care
Support a young person, when a parent/guardian is not available, by attending police interviews at a designated Police Station.
