  1. Tuesday Twilight Toadbusting in Darwin

    This project aims to help reduce and control numbers of cane toads in local areas of Darwin. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect cane toads.Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information or to book in to an upcoming session.

  2. Eastern curlew habitat restoration project at Lee Point, Darwin

    The eastern curlew (Numinous madagascariensis) is critically endangered around Australia. This project aims to restore important habitat to protect the eastern curlew and support the growth of the local population. We will be carrying out different restoration activities to improve the habitat and doing bird surveys to monitor the eastern curlew population at Lee Point Reserve.   3. Atlas Moth Restoration Project in Darwin

    This project aims to protect and improve habitat for sand goannas (Varanus gouldii), and to encourage the reintroduction of the atlas moth (Attacus wardi). The site spans mangrove, coastal dune, monsoon rainforest and paperbark swamp environments within the Casuarina Coastal Reserve. Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information.
