  2. Twilight Toadbusting

    By supporting the Frogwatch organisation, we aim to reduce the numbers of Cane Toads, an invasive species of Australia. After an informative identification session we will head out to different environmentally sensitive sites including Botanical Gardens, Golflinks, RAAF Base in Winnellie and Lee Point to catch toads by hand and using nets. We will also be testing our new cane toad tadpole trap in some local waterways. Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information

    Alawa Scout Group is seeking adults (18+) interested in becoming Leaders in our Scouting family. Leadership will provide you with the opportunity to encourage mentor & empower young people, contribute to the community, challenge yourself, have fun, learn new skills, gain recognised leadership & management qualifications & be appreciated. Leaders and Assistant Leaders are being sought for all sections including: Joeys (6-7 yrs), Cubs (8-10 yrs), Scouts (11-14 yrs) and Venturers (15-17 yrs)
