This project aims to restore important habitat to protect the eastern curlew and support the growth of the local population. We will be carrying out different restoration activities to improve the habitat and doing bird surveys to monitor the eastern curlew population at Lee Point Reserve. Furry Friends operates remotely, with animals being carefully placed with volunteer Foster Carers until they are adopted rather than operating a traditional shelter model.
