After an informative identification session we will head out to different environmentally sensitive sites including Botanical Gardens, Golflinks, RAAF Base in Winnellie and Lee Point to catch toads by hand and using nets. We will also be testing our new cane toad tadpole trap in some local waterways. Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information

  3. Birds of the Top End- Bird Surveys

With the aim to collect baseline data from various urban lagoons in the Darwin region, we will be recording observations of a set species list. The fast expansion of Darwin and its suburbs has meant that little is known of the effects this urbanisation is having on our local wildlife and bird species of the area. Sites will include; Knuckey Lagoon, McMinns Lagoon and Fogg Dam.
