  2. Twilight Toadbusting in Darwin

    By supporting the Frogwatch/Biowatch organisation, we aim to help reduce and control numbers of Cane Toads in the Top End. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal.   3. Atlas Moth Restoration Project in Darwin

    The Atlas Moth has been found to reside in small populations around Darwin. Due to habitat destruction, numbers have decreased over time and Conservation Volunteers are working to restore important habitat sites. This project will include activities such as removing invasive plant species, photo point surveys and GPS mapping, planting food trees and general conservation tasks.

  4. Birds of the Top End in Darwin

    You will have the opportunity to visit and learn about the wildlife that resides in one of Darwin's iconic Conservation Reserves. Fogg Dam provides an important food source and habitat to over 200 local and migratory bird species. Conservation Volunteers have been collecting baseline data from this lagoon of a set species list for almost two years.
