    By supporting the Frogwatch/Biowatch organisation, we aim to help reduce and control numbers of Cane Toads in the Top End. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal.   4. Atlas Moth Restoration Project in Darwin

    This project has a focus on protecting and improving habitats for Sand Goannas, and to encourage the reintroduction of the Atlas moth species A.wardi. The site spans mangrove, coastal dune, monsoon rainforest and paperbark swamp environments within the Casuarina Coastal Reserve.

  5. Bird of the Top End - Bird Surveys in Darwin

    Want to experience Darwin’s unique birdlife? Volunteers will survey a vast array of birdlife at different sites around Darwin including Fogg Dam, McMinns Lagoon, Knuckey's Lagoon and Marlow's Lagoon. You will learn bird identification skills while observing the surrounding wildlife.   6. Marine Debris Surveys - Beautify the Beaches of Darwin

    Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each week for Marine Debris which is then sorted and catalogued on the day, adding to a national database.
