We are seeking volunteers who enjoy the company of seniors, have a happy disposition, possess a current Light Rigid licence and are confident in driving an 18-seater bus. Staff will accompany the residents on outings. To enable consistency for our residents, this role is suited for volunteers who can commit 2.5 hours on a regular basis (ideally weekly, but fortnightly possible) on Thursday mornings.
We need you to help us keep our fleet of vans and cars clean. We have 3 cars, 2 vans, and 1 x 22 seater coastal bus. Everything you need will be provided. Double vaccination mandatory
Aged Care Volunteer Visitor's Scheme (ACVVS) volunteers make regular, relaxed social visits and provide companionship and friendship to residents of aged care facilities or older people living in their own homes. Support people helping with activities other than going onto a fire ground. People with experience in administration, finance or looking for a hands on activities for example care and maintenance of vehicles & equipment and fundraising and social activities.

Assist the Truck drivers with the daily collection of donated goods and deliveries of supplies to those in need in the community.
