A volunteer with a friendly personality is required to assist with reception at an energetic and vibrant Senior Citizens Centre. Tasks include answering telephones calls and general enquiries, taking cash payments, processing membership renewals and assisting members to ensure they have an enjoyable experience when visiting the Centre. Volunteer to become one of the very special VIP's for the Gold Coast Police Service. As a VIP you would be offering support to Officers by carrying out a range of crime prevention tasks that complement the responsibilities of Gold Coast Police members, allowing officers to remain focused on operational tasks. Currently only one intake a year is held, applications must be made prior to attend a mandatory 4 day training session. This role is for long term, committed, and conscientious persons.
An energetic volunteer with a friendly personality is required to assist with setting up tables and chairs for centre activities at a friendly vibrant Senior Citizens Centre. Tasks will also include mowing a small patch of grass, watering and light weeding and set up and packing away tables and chairs at completion of activities. (C)

Child and Family Service Gold Coast Early Years Centre provides educational support to families and their children. Our groups and programs provide an entry way into The Benevolent Society where staff can provide support, information, referrals and families connect with their community.
Our services throughout the year include helping the homeless, disadvantaged, youth and domestic violence victims with weekly dinners, food packs, clothing, furniture and linking in with Queensland government with housing and health services. We require someone to coordinate events such as fundraisers, fun run's and youth programs
A capable person with professional presentation is required for a busy reception two days a week. You will be required to learn our reception and administration procedures, becoming a member of our Volunteer team. Strong customer service skills are required and the ability to handle appointments and telephone inquiries with ease. Computer skills in Outlook, Basic Excel and Word is needed. You must be flexible, committed and reliable. (C)
