    Office Of The Public Advocate

    Community Visitors uphold the Human Rights of people living in supported care. They visit accommodation facilities and monitor and report on the adequacy of services provided. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are able to visit during day-time hours or late afternoons and who can make a commitment of two years. Training will be provided to support you in the role.

We have two main roles for this program: Clinic Volunteer- assist with setting up the bikes and equipment for each client assessment. Assist our Occupational Therapist (OT) by taking off and adding on components until the client can safely ride the bike. Assembly Volunteer- Build the client's individual bike, adding on custom components as prescribed
