Join us for a Sunday morning out at Prince of Wales Bay, where we'll be working to remove a significant weed (Boxthorn) along the foreshore. All participants over the age of 16 welcome. Please feel free to join our event while it's in progress or leave early if you prefer. All training and a morning tea provided.
The West Moonah Community Action Group encompasses the West Moonah Neighbourhood House, Community Preschool, Community Garden and Community Shed and is part of the Tasmanian Neighbourhood Houses Network. The organisation is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association with ACNC charity status. Volunteers provide support to vulnerable community members accessing Emergency Relief by conducting face to face interviews with consumers who are presenting for assistance, and help facilitate access to material goods and vouchers, and referrals to other programs and agencies.
