3Bridges Community is looking for volunteers with an LR Licence. This role involves driving a 3Bridges vehicle to pick up clients, take them to their venue and return them home. Vehicle pick up is usually at Penshurst and Oatley, but may be at other 3Bridges venues in the St George and Sutherland Shire.
CanCare is recruiting and training volunteers to support people with cancer in southern Sydney (St George and Sutherland Shire region). As a CanCare volunteer you will be trained to provide one-on-one support to people with any type of cancer. A little bit of help can go a long way, and the support provided as a volunteer CanCare Navigator will make a big difference to those who do not have the support they need.
The Volunteer Anxiety Support Group Facilitator Assistant is responsible for helping the Anxiety Support Group once a month for two hours.
Volunteers Drivers are required to drive our full range of vehicles from a Camry sedan to a 23 seater bus. The driver is required to transport our clients who include the frail, the aged, people with a disability and their carers to and from appointments and outings. Volunteers are generally required for full days but you can choose the days and how often you would like to help out. We provide $30 a day to our volunteers to cover any out-of-pocket expenses.
3Bridges Community is looking for volunteers to assist with activities for children 5–12yrs at Before, After School Care or Vacation Care service. Various roles are available at sites in Sydney's South and South West. Times and days are negotiable.
