Role is for 2 days a week, 5 hours each day, but these days and hours will be discussed with each volunteer. All equipment and products are provided.

    We are looking for a motivated person to assist in the cleaning of the Visitor Centre. This is a most important role as entry to our site is via the Visitor Centre so first impressions are most important to us. The duties include cleaning, vacuuming, rubbish disposal, attending to toilets and other weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required. A cleaner is required on weekdays on Monday, Wednesday or Friday for half a day or Saturday afternoon or Sunday mornings for approximately 2 hours.

A natural aptitude and the physical ability to carry out minor maintenance work are needed as you will be taking care of boardwalks and buildings. Tasks will include general minor repairs to infrastructure. This role will primarily be need on Mondays and Tuesdays, but times are flexible (half or full day). Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.

You’ll see what a difference your furry friend can make. When bringing your pet into an aged care environment with frail and elderly residents, we ask that your pet is: Calm, patient & gentle in nature, Up-to-date with vaccinations/treatment of worms & fleas, Nails are short &blunt. Freshly cut nails should be filed. Dogs must be on a lead.
