Volunteer for National Bandanna Day 2018 in TAS!

CanTeen's signature fundraising event – National Bandanna Day (NBD) – is just around the corner and we are looking for passionate volunteers for our street sales on Wednesday 24th October (South) and Friday 26th October (North and limited shifts in Hobart). Join us as we hit the streets to raise much needed funds to help support young people living with cancer.

Volunteer at the MS Hobart 24 Hour Mega Swim!

The MS 24 Hour Mega Swim is a fun team relay event where teams have a swimmer in the water for the entire 24 hours and compete for laps swum and money raised, in support for people living with multiple sclerosis. We are looking for volunteers to assist with roles at the Hobart event on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October. Please see shifts available below.

If you want to work around horses and are reasonably fit then this could be for you. Our clients are people living with disabilities who want to learn to ride. You can help them to enjoy this activity and contribute to your community. Or you may have office and administration skills and want to join the committee or IT skills and want to assist with maintaining the website.

Gardening at Narryna and Markree gardens, including composting, weeding, pruning and propagation. Both houses are part of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) and the gardens contributes to the integrity of each property. Top priority is the safety and well being of all volunteers, visitors,contractors and staff. You will also provide information on TMAG and House Museum services, exhibitions and public programs, and also cross promote House Museum activities.
