Since Perth grandmother, Mary Hutton, registered the fund in 1995, Free the Bears has grown into the world’s foremost bear rescue and protection organisation. We work with local communities and governments in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and India to save three of the worlds least-known bear species - sun bears, moon bears (asiatic black bears) and sloth bears - from misery, torture and the threat of extinction

The "Walk for Prems" is our flagship fundraiser for the year. The great success of the walk is due to the generosity of the volunteers that come on board each year to assist. Enjoy a fun day while volunteering at the same time. It is a family event (for families who's babies have been very ill) so a lovely day of celebration and smiles

An ongoing, virtual volunteering opportunity to join PANDA’s Community Champions. Our national volunteer program draws on the voices, passion and energy of those who have recovered from perinatal anxiety, depression and postnatal psychosis. Together we raise awareness, reduce stigma and share a message of hope and recovery. We know perinatal mental illness does not discriminate and that it can affect anyone. Help us reach out to those in your community and others across Australia.
Grass roots public relations and fundraising are our bread and butter. We simply can’t train Guide Dogs without people helping us get out there and talk, sell, collect, organise, host, drive, etc. We’re always looking for people who have time to spare to help us fundraise in the community.
