Adult Helpers - Old Beach Scout Group

Do you love kids? Do you enjoy watching them gain new skills while learning about our natural environment and contributing to our community? Old Beach Cub Scouts are seeking Adult Helpers to join either: Scouts on Monday nights (10 girls/boys aged 11-15yrs); Cubs on Wednesday nights (15 boys/girls aged 8-10); Joeys on Wednesday nights: (10 boys/girls aged 5-7) Fun activities and games are planned by the Leaders, volunteers offer support on the night.

2nd Assistant Joey Leader - Old Beach Scout Group

Do you love that wonderful age when kids wriggle and skip when they're happy? When they stare at you with huge wondrous eyes and a grin full of teeny-tiny teeth? Do you enjoy watching them gain new skills and confidence while learning about our natural world (away from a screen)? Do you have patience when it comes to arts and crafts, scissors and glue sticks, and don't mind singing or role play? Our Joeys (aged 5-7 years) need an Assistant Leader - this could be your perfect volunteer role!

Do you think kids need more outdoor time and less screen time? Are you concerned that so many 11-15 year olds socialise more on their devices than face-to-face? Good news! Scouts is the antidote to synthetic entertainment! But we need your help. We are looking for adult volunteers who believe in supporting youth to explore the outdoors, encourage them to take responsibility for the environment, their own self-motivation, respect, teamwork and care for others. Full training provided.
