We are looking for volunteers to help transport elderly members of our community from their homes to our centre in Norlane. This allows them to participate in social programs. You would need to be comfortable in driving our 12 seater vans. Driver training would be provided and you only require a standard drivers licence.

The Wig Salon is a FREE consultation service, offered by trained volunteers, providing a supportive and friendly environment for patients receiving treatment for Cancer. Patients can select from a variety of a wigs, which as a professional hairdresser part of your role will be to trim, shape and customise each wig for the patient.
At our centre in Norlane, we require volunteers to assist with activities for elderly clients. During weekdays, clients attend our centre and participate in activities which include but not limited to... playing games, having one on one conversations, gardening, outings, enjoying lunch and socialising. Volunteers are needed on any weekdays they are available, to assist and spend time with our clients.

We put print to audio, and ensure all members of the low vision and blind community have access to local community information and news. We are seeking Volunteer Retail team members for the Treasures Op Shop. A retail team member is a valued and respected position with the Community Centre - Treasures Op Shop. Volunteers will assist in promoting and driving sales, through effective customer service, store cleanliness and assisting with merchandising of products. The role of the Food Bank- Food Transport and Delivery team will be to collect food donations from partnered organisations and deliver it to the Norlane Community Centre.
The Baggage Handler’s primary responsibility is to provide assistance to individuals utilising the Food Bank service at the Norlane Community Centre. This assistance involves helping these community members carry heavy bags to their vehicles. By doing so, Baggage Handlers contribute to the centres mission of creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
The Record Keeper- Numbers ensures the smooth operation of the Food Bank service at Norlane Community Centre. It involves managing the distribution of queue numbers to community members before the Food Bank service begins at 1:00pm. By doing so, the Numbers Record Keeper helps maintain order and fairness in the distribution of food.
The Record Keeper Data Collection is a role that involves recording details of community members who utilise the Food Bank service at Norlane Community Centre.
Our Community Centre offers opportunities for local people to connect, learn and contribute in their community through various programs and activities run in the Centre. We are looking for a motivated volunteer to assist our current Mosaics teacher with various teaching duties. We welcome people of all backgrounds and communities to apply for this position, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, of all ages, genders, religion, ethnicities, sexual orientation and ability.
Our Club runs a bistro on Thursday and Friday evenings. We also have the kitchen/kiosk running on Saturday game days. The position will involve general kitchen (food preparation and serving) duties and occasional bar work.
