Our residents living at our Wayville Aged Care Home really miss the family pets they had in their family homes. Animals bring great joy to others hearts and the social chit chat and a pat bring smiles and fill hearts. All volunteers must have up to date Influenza vaccinations, the Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work in Aged Care.

Every week, an army of cooks, kitchen hands, foodies and friends arm the Meals on Wheels Kitchens. Love to cook? We could do with you. As a kitchen helper, you will be part of a team that prepares delicious meals for people who need them.
As part of the delivery team, you are on the “front line”, delivering our amazing meals out to our customers who need them. If you love a little chat, have a couple of hours in the middle of the day free and want to help out your local community, deliveries are for you! As we deliver in pairs, there are two role options, meaning you do not need to be able to drive or have use of a car to be able to deliver.
We have opportunities for Volunteer Visitors who enjoy a chat, are empathetic with good communication and listening skills and have an understanding of older people to visit people in aged care facilities or in their own homes.
