Community Connections is a new volunteer program with the purpose of reducing the premature decline in individual wellbeing caused by social isolation and loneliness. Do you love a chat over a cuppa? The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is an Australian Government funded program created to promote links between people living in an aged care home and the community. We are on the lookout for Community Visitors to visit residents of Govt. funded Residential Aged Care Homes or recipients of Home Care Packages. You will be regularly visiting an older person or group of older people to help them capture elements of their life story or important event in their life.
