Our Events team is looking for volunteers to help at various exciting events coming up in 2024, including some of our flagship ones like Hunter Valley Steamfest and Maitland Taste Festival.
Your financial skills are required to help us support vulnerable community members. You will ensure all money due is collected and received and authorised payments made. You will also keep accurate books and accounts showing the financial affairs of the association, including details of receipts & expenditures, and that the financial needs of funding bodies are met. You will prepare the annual audit and ensure the accounts show the financial position at the end of the preceding financial year.
Bring joy and social connection to an elderly resident by visiting them once a week for the purpose of providing companionship. This opportunity falls under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) and is designed to combat loneliness and isolation.
