    Gloria Taylor Reserve is a special remnant of State and Federally listed endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland in need of some tender loving care! Help us remove the weeds that are choking out native species and contribute to improving biodiversity in Western Sydney. For a half day of volunteering you will be rewarded with a scrumptious morning tea and learn about the legend of Clinches Pond!

    Malabar Headland is a spectacular coastal setting with views of dramatic sandstone cliffs, and beautiful coastal bushland. The headland is an area of national significance for its natural, cultural and heritage values. Renowned for viewing seabirds, whale watching and marine life the Headland is one of the few coastal areas in Sydney to retain its natural vegetation. This year we will be working very closely alongside the old historical wartime trainline that runs through the site.

    This bushcare group is supported by Lane Cove National Park and Macquarie University. It meets on the third Saturday morning of each month and welcomes new members. We meet next on Saturday May 18. Work is along Mars Creek, a hidden gem of the Lane Cove National Park and involves removing weeds so that native plants will regenerate, improving the biodiversity of the park.
