  1. Saving the iconic Nielsen Park She-Oak

Nielsen Park in Sydney's eastern suburbs is home to one of the rarest tress of Sydney. In fact, it's only known location is in Neilson Park itself, which runs alongside the heritage listed Greycliffe house and borders the iconic Sydney Harbour and Shark Beach. Working in conjunction with National Parks and Wildlife, we are helping to reduce the number of threats this unique plant faces.

The headland is an area of national significance for its natural, cultural and heritage values. This year we will be working very closely alongside the old historical wartime trainline that runs through the site.

This new and exciting project is here to help restore the significant resting habitat of the critically endangered Eastern Curlew migratory shore bird which make their way to the eastern shores of Australia from the arctic circle.
