Drivers are needed for a Food Service that delivers almost 500 nutritious meals every week, to vulnerable or isolated residents in the Cumberland LGA. Although delivery of prepared meals is the basis of the Service, it is more than just a meal. It is also about ensuring that people, who may not be able to get out and about, enjoy regular social interaction and the comfort of knowing someone will drop by regularly to say hello and see how they are doing.

We have a vacancy for a volunteer for 2 Wednesdays a month (1st & 3rd of each month) to help set up for a Arabic Seniors group. Available 9.30 to 11.30am and need to drive their own vehicle (petrol will be reimbursed at our KM rate). The volunteer will need to be committed to every Wednesday to open up the hall at Merrylands Oval, assist to set up tables and chairs, collect morning tea from pizza shop nearby and return to Miller Street office to drop off folder/money/keys/attendance sheet.
