Due to habitat destruction, numbers have decreased over time and Conservation Volunteers are working to restore important habitat sites.     Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each week for Marine Debris which is then sorted and catalogued on the day, adding to a national database.
