Visit a socially or culturally isolated resident in an aged care facility or in their own home in the Eastern region of Victoria. From Monash to Yarra Valley. We have many lonely people in need of a friendly, empathetic and caring volunteer visitor. Want to try something different in 2024? Becoming a volunteer visitor can change someone's life. A very rewarding program which fosters friendships between lonely elderly people and volunteers.

Are you female and over 35 and want to support a women recovering from the impact of family violence? Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and empathise? Helping women move forward with their life and connect back to the community will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. You must Live in one of the following LGAs: Monash; Banyule; Boroondara; Whitehorse; Maroondah; Knox and Manningham?

Share your smile and companionship during bi-weekly friendly visits with a lovely Greek lady who lives in Carnegie. Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference to their life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.
