The organisation was established in 1996 in response to kids demand to have a say about their environment and their world. Millennium Kids is about advocacy and action. We encourage young people to have a voice regarding issues that concern them, and shape their opinions into positive, practical action projects that include all interested stakeholders.

A Friend for Renata

We are seeking a patient lady to become a trusted friend and mentor for Renata whilst building her self-confidence and independent living skills. Renata recently moved south of the river and is yet to build a social network. She is in her early 30s, has a mild intellectual disability and does not feel confident using public transport. Renata has a bubbly personality and loves children. She would love a local lady to take a personal interest in her.
