    Musical Instrumentalists are required for brass, woodwind and percussion sections of the band. Bass Clef is preferred but not essential from trombones, baritones and basses. Flute, clarinet, sax and bassoon players also needed. Applicants need to be able to read music, be AMEB grade 3 or equivalent and be able to attend rehearsals regularly.     QSHBA is a volunteer-run not-for-profit group that is very active in the community. We have 4 permanent bands that perform regularly: the Queensland Mounted Infantry Historical Troop Band, the Queensland Show Band, the Bayside Youth Band and QSHBA Drum Corps. With current volunteers focused on teaching and performance roles, we need 1 or more volunteers to help keep us going behind the scenes, assisting with clerical duties, band room maintenance, as well as library and asset management.
