    As part of the Community Sustainability Action Grant, CVA are helping to undertake various rehabilitation duties on a Nature Refuge in the Atherton Tablelands, which doubles as the Tablelands Cassowary Rehabilitation Facility. Volunteers will be introduced to the facility with a brief tour and talk about Cassowaries and the history of the refuge, and the undertake various activities throughout the day including, mulching & watering, weeding and planting within the Refuge.

    Come along and 'Be an Elf for the Day' for Youngcare. We are running our Gift wrapping stall from Friday 1 December. Shift times are: 10.15am – 1.30pm or 1.15pm – 4.30pm with late night shopping Thursdays running 4.15 – 8pm up to Tuesday 19 December. Then from Wednesday 20 December there are 3 shifts: 8.45am – 1.30pm and 1.15pm – 5.15 and 5pm – 9pm. Sunday 24 only runs till 12.30pm.
