EPIC Ambassador

Children's Support Worker

This role works to promote positive relationships between child/ren and both parents or significant others in the children’s lives by reducing the incident of children experiencing family and domestic violence, and being isolated from other family members. Volunteers facilitate supervised visitations with the child/ren, youth and the parent they do not live with as well as and assisting with change overs between the parents they live with and the parents they do not live with.

The aim of an NILs worker is to assist people experiencing financial hardship by offering a No Interest Loan. The purpose of the NILs program is to improve client’s assets and or lifestyle. The client may apply for a loan through the NILs program to purchase a product or service that is regarded as an essential item or service. This program is not restricted by postcodes and is open to applicants who have a heath care card and or are low income earners.
