Volunteers are needed to walk a clients 3 dogs. All dogs are part greyhound. There is an older dog which would need a short walk on their own and two younger dogs that can possibly be walked together. The volunteer must love dogs, have previous dog walking experience (ie. have walked their own dogs or someone elses) and be relatively fit and strong. The client lives in Brahma Lodge and we would prefer the volunteer to live within 10 kms of the clients home.

Male Visitors are needed to be a friend to an older male person and visit them for an hour or so weekly or fortnightly. Brighten someone’s day with a smile, friendly conversation or by doing an activity or playing a game together. No special skills are needed except for a friendly and caring nature and good listening and communication skills. COTA Visitors aim to reduce loneliness and isolation felt by many older people living in a Residential Age homes and diverse communities.
