The Gawler Community House operates a Community Café every Monday, Tuesday Wednesday & Friday offering coffee, refreshments, snacks and light lunch items for members of the community between 10.30am to 2.00pm. Kitchen volunteers work under the direction of the Kitchen Duty Officer to assist in preparing food, serving customers, cash handling, kitchen and dining room cleaning, dishwashing, and general kitchen clean up. We are currently seeking a community Cafe Kitchen Hand for Friday's.

Volunteers at Women's Information Service (WIS) are highly valued and make a difference to the lives of many women in South Australia. This volunteer role involves providing information and referrals to women who visit the purposely established safety hub 'The Haven'. We provide a comprehensive training program, mentored shifts and ongoing support. WIS is a supportive team to all of our valuable volunteers.

The Escort Service plays an important part in helping patients attend their appointments at other major hospitals, clinics or nursing homes. Volunteer Escorts provide effective customer service to patients of the Repat Health Precinct Statewide Rehabilitation Services through the support and assistance to accompany patients who have been booked to attend appointments in various locations such as dental or eye clinic appointments.

Support ranges from escorting patients within the RHP Statewide Rehabilitation Units, facilitating shopping requests, meet and greet on admission to sitting with patients and relatives/friends.
