Can:Do4Kids are looking for fun and confident volunteers to collect donations at the gates at the Royal Adelaide Show at the Wayville Showgrounds on Sunday, September 9th this year. Funds raised go to Can:Do 4Kids supporting, deaf, blind and sensory impaired children make informed decisions and set goals which are achievable and meaningful, and give Can:Do4Kids the ability to work in partnership with them to achieve these goals.

Create and Connect Program Transport Volunteer - Alexandrina Connect

Create and Connect Program Transport Volunteers provide individual support to the participants of the Create and Connect program in accessing free transport to and from the program on The Hub bus. Volunteers will assist the passengers on and off the bus as required, provide information to the Council’s volunteer bus driver regarding passengers addresses for each trip, communicate with the passengers regarding their future bookings for bus ensuring any dates of program closure are communicated.

Foodie - Alexandrina Connect (Goolwa Community Centre)

Goolwa Community Centre has a small kitchen facility which provides lunch for up to 16 community members on Tuesdays. Foodie volunteer will be responsible for planning, shopping and preparing a weekly nourishing light lunch ie soup, veggies bakes, wraps or sandwiches etc. The lunch is part of an Art and Wellbeing program for people experiencing social isolation, Foodie will be supported in their role by Program Coordinator. The Foodie will need to enjoy working with people in a busy environment

Create and Connect Program Volunteers provide individual support to participan, assist Coordinator with nominated tasks and promote the program and Goolwa's activities in a positive manner.Volunteers will need to encourage creative expression, involvement and self-responsibility. If required volunteer will assist participants transport on ACPA bus and carry out duties specific to position description, contributing to the effective running of the program.

DCSI - State Community Visitor Scheme Volunteer - Fleurieu Peninsula

Community Visitors inspect and report on - the standard of care and accommodation, the adequacy of information provided to patients/residents and their families, the attitude of staff towards patients/residents.
