Are you skilled in either Origami, String Art, Ikebana or Mosaics? Have you ever thought about sharing your skills and love of these crafts by teaching at a Community Learning Centre? If so we have a great opportunity for you to impart your knowledge to others by volunteering at a local Community Learning Centre.
Delivery of Meals to older people within a Residential Village in Armadale WA.
A General Front of House Volunteer will be required to meet, greet and give directions or escort if required, visitors and patients to their destination in the hospital. You will at times be required to approach and assist people who may be unsure of where they are going. Other duties include assisting with transport enquiries and general tidying of reception area.
Volunteer will be required to provide companionship and support for patients and their relatives, including accompanying independent patients and wheelchair patients on walks with consent and assistance given by staff where required. Other duties include assisting patients with menu forms, offering fluids and setting up meals for bed ridden patients, reading and playing board games or cards with patients, keeping areas tidy and making tea/coffee on occasions.
Volunteer required to assist with the removal of Graffiti, either by use of Acid and Water or Painting. All Equipment is supplied.
If you love helping people, have a keen eye for detail, enjoy a retail environment, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the sorting, pricing and stocking of shelves and displays in our Op Shop.
