Main Duties/Responsibilities: Stocking the Food Hub with harvested produce and donated produce. Once the hub is well stocked, then the delivery/collection boxes are filled with produce. Work in the food hub, greeting and engaging with customers and keeping a tally of customer numbers. Assist with unloading the Second Bite food delivery each Tuesday morning and division of produce into required amounts for Tuesday and Thursday stock. Assist with packing produce boxes for collection .
Tamar Wetlands have a new project starting for weed control on the island and are looking for volunteers to assist with this project. Volunteers with Horticultural and Chemical Control certification, or are studying for qualification, are encouraged to apply.
