Social Support Volunteer

As a Social Support Volunteer you will visit a client in their own home to have a cuppa and a chat, go for a walk, read to or other support directed by coordinator. You may also assist a client with their shopping or do their shopping on their behalf, using your own vehicle. You may also be required to provide respite for a carer. It is a requirement that you are able to commit 4 hours a month.

Volunteer Friendship Companion - Reading/Computer/Games/Walking/Friendship Chats

Volunteer Gardener

Working alone, in a group or with other staff members you will assist participating residents with their gardening activities by: gathering gardening tools from the shed and take to the garden, weeding, watering, planting or picking flowers etc. Masonic Care Tasmania provides an integrated range of residential aged care.
