Volunteer mentors provide consistent, positive role model support and guidance to a young person aged 10-21. You'll support them to access and pursue positive interests, hobbies or activities within their community, increasing their social confidence and reducing feelings of isolation.

Seeking flexible, patient and reliable volunteers to mentor young people aged between 11 to 17, through engaging in negotiated recreational activities for a couple of hours per fortnight. Activities may include walking in the park, visiting the local library, attending festivals, playing sports, cooking or going for a drive together.

They are a lively bunch & a lot of fun, they love to explore new things. If you can see yourself as our new minibus driver and tour guide, then we need you!

At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for a volunteer preferably a female and preferably somebody who can speak Greek or English to spend some quality time with an elderly Greek lady who lives in Thomastown. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days about travelling and family while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.
