Community drivers use our vehicles to help people get to medical appointments, exercise sessions or shopping. Our drivers provide a door to door service for people who otherwise find it difficult to get out. We’re looking for volunteers who will commit to a regular week day gig of between 4 and 6 hours. Choose your day and then pick morning or afternoon or even both! This is easy, rewarding volunteering as people are so appreciative of the friendly lift to where they need to go.

The Orangutan Project (TOP) is an international conservation organisation working with partners and running projects in Borneo and Sumatra to save orangutans from extinction, safeguard forests, and support local and indigenous communities. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.
