Emotion 21 - Changing the views of people with Downs Syndrome
The program volunteer or ‘Mover’ is a support of the teacher in the class and their role is to assist the teacher to ensure each emotion21 participant is engaged, learning and participating ensuring they access the benefits of the program i.e. developing in movement skills (e.g. physical skills), experiencing the psychological benefits of the program (e.g. the joy of movement, new friendships, and power of ‘belonging’ in a community etc.) and is being encouraged to grow in social skills.

Feed One Feed All is a food relief charity based in Scoresby. We are looking for a superstar kitchen hand to help lighten the load for our team of volunteers on a Friday afternoon! Your main role will be to swoop in and save the day by cleaning and washing dishes using the commercial dishwasher. You will ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitary, and also support our team with any other tasks required as part of our pack up. Hours are flexible.

Reach out and connect with your local community! The role of Distribution Manager is voluntary and represents a key function for the paper. Main Duties: Maintain up to date list of Walkers and Deliverers, and numbers of papers required. Attend the delivery of the papers each month at The Basin Community Hall, Prepare distribution lists for Drivers Liaise with Walkers and arrange coverage for those absent. Report to monthly Committee Meeting.
Special Olympics Melbourne Eastern Ranges
The coach is to supervise up to 10 athletes at a time poolside, however, may have to participate in the water as well. Our athletes need high communication in order to understand coaching instruction

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in giving a socially isolated older person a regular phone call. The call does not need to be made during office hours and could be after hours if that suits the caller and the recipient. We are urgently looking for someone with an interest in Australian Rules Footy, but if you would like to be a volunteer with us and don't have a passion for AFL, we would like to hear from you also.
