We are looking for someone to become a Volunteer Visitor and provide regular visits to a gentleman living in aged care in Thornlands. Our resident had a keen interest in boats and sailing in his younger years, and we'd love to find someone with a similar interest or experience to come visit him for regular chats. The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services.
