This role is varied, ranging from assisting aged care residents and Club Connection participants with particular activities or just being there for a chat, providing company and support.
Volunteer Sorting Assistant required to assist with the day to day operations of Lifeline Op Shops in Albury and Wodonga. Various tasks such as sorting donations into different categories, packing and storing saleable items.
Mature, responsible, well-presented people capable of working independently. High standard customer service, enjoy working with public, friendly manner.
Volunteers are required to assist in the setting up and running of artists' exhibitions. Duties would include setting up of tables and chairs, distribution of food and drinks - RSA qualifications are desirable, making sales and some light cleaning. At the end of the Exhibition help with the removal and packaging of the artworks.
Local art gallery requires a wait person for special events including exhibition openings, corporate events, or other such events involving food and drink. No formal qualifications, or skills, are required, however the following would be desirable: Have an interest in the arts, Ideally to have skills in serving food and beverages, Understanding of safe food practices, Work as a team, or on their own, Effective communication skills - Verbal and written, Good attention to detail.
Interviewer required to interview in emergency support, need to have excellent people skill Ability to relate well & build rapport with clients, have a warm, friendly, empathetic & non-judgmental approach, be reliable & consistent. a knowledge of other service providers in the Albury Wodonga area. Training provided to suitable applicants one on one.
Assist the food van driver to unload, sort food for correct storage, check use by date and best before date, store food in either cool room or walk in freezer and keep fridges amd freezers stocked. Need to be reasonably fit as this work involves a lot of bending & lifting.
Help us help the older people of your community with their transport needs. We provide the vehicles, uniforms, and all training required for the role. Drivers are needed, along with shopping assistances also. Any available time you have to volunteer with us would be gratefully appreciated.

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer for a 5-week program. In this role, you will be assisting with the KNOW YOUR GIZMO program. Year 10 students from Wodonga Senior Secondary College will assist senior citizens in our community to use electronic devices such as iPads, mobile phones, laptops, and smartwatches. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate communication and ensure the needs of the senior citizens and students are met during these interactions.

The Red Nose Treasured Babies Program supports families following the death of a baby by providing beautiful handmade items of clothing for parents to dress their baby in, no matter the gestation. The program is run by volunteers, with support from Red Nose staff. The Treasured Babies Administrator will provide administrative support to the program by liaising with other volunteers, Red Nose staff members, hospitals and other key stakeholders.
