Take minutes for the 4 committee meetings a year Participate in committee meetings Book in times for committee meetings and communicate to required attendees Record updates for any actions raised in the meeting Be a co-signatory for group accounts.

Melbourne City Mission - Community Friend Program (CFP)
Community Friend Program pairs and supports friendships between volunteers and participants (people with a mild to moderate disability and/or mental health condition between 18-64 years of age). Through friendship, the Community Friend Program aims to address social isolation and increase community participation - something many take for granted. Volunteers catch with participants in the community on a fortnightly basis and engage in activities of interests (cuppa, movie, walk etc.)

Elder Rights Australia
Here at Elder Rights Australia we know the power of a cuppa and a chat. We would like to hear from you if you are interested in visiting lonely older people as part of a Government Funded Aged Care Volunteer Visiting Program. If you are caring, friendly, compassionate and like a chat, and can commit to visiting someone once a week or fortnight, join us to improve the quality of life for our older community! We often hear volunteers say they gain confidence, purpose and a new friend.
Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
The ASRC Health Program currently has three male volunteer psychiatrists. Many women accessing services are uncomfortable or unable to share their mental health concerns with a male psychiatrist. In an attempt to provide culturally safe and gender specific care, we require a female psychiatrist to provide support, treatment and referral to women seeking asylum with mental health presentations.

Newport Railway Museum Inc.
Be a roving guide at the museum. You don't need to have detailed knowledge of railways; it's more about having great people skills. Our wonderful visitors (generally families with children under 10 years of age) wander the museum site on a self-guided tour, and we just need friendly volunteers to assist them with things like directions around the site, and generally providing site supervision.

Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
The Social Enterprise Engagement Volunteer will work collaboratively with the Social Enterprise Engagement Coordinator to provide support to people seeking asylum and refugees who are employed by ASRC’s Social Enterprises. You’ll be engaging directly with staff to develop pathways to meaningful employment as well as providing administration support to coordinate the delivery of training and skills development workshops focused on boosting employability and job readiness.

Reception Concierge Volunteers ensure Reception is a safe and welcoming environment for people seeking asylum and visitors. Reception Concierge Volunteers manage traffic flow, sign-in procedures, and safety protocols.
